In the early 1990s Martin Widerquist and Jonas Ihreborn started playing together. It was guitar based pop and they immediately started writing on their own material. Over the years, the band has had many different constellations. But the band name Milou stayed. In 2001, a single “You’re my star” was released. Over the years, the band continued with the creation of music and built up an class A analogue studio in Värnamo. The recordings started and the first album was ready in early 2017. Since 1999, bassist and guitarist Martin Ferm and drummer Lars Petersson joined 2010. The influences of the music come from the 60’s pop and rock, in a new era.

It´s in the studio everything happens. This is the place where the music is created through experimenting and time-consuming work. Much time is spent getting the music together and becoming an interesting one. To achieve a sound that is comfortable and gives a nice feel to the listener, the equipment has been chosen with care.
By using a clean signal chain and high quality gear, and also adhering to analogue equipment, the recordings get a warmth and close up sound. It’s just as important to get the right sound like having a good tune!
